Focus is committed to providing high quality services to special needs children and their families, working in collaboration with educational and other professionals to maximize each child’s potential to learn and develop. We specialize in working with children with autism and autism-spectrum disorders, pervasive developmental disorders, and other disorders affecting development and behavior. Our services are holistic and grounded in the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), utilizing a variety of strategies including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Verbal Behavior, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and others.

We contract with area regional centers, school districts, charter schools, head starts, and families to carry out this work. Focus staff work with each client and family to customize services to best meet their developmental, social, and educational needs.
